Who can join the forum?

There is no restriction on who can join the forum. Please note that the topics on discussion are related to the academic needs of trainee psychiatrists with a focus on preparing for the MRCPsych exams. This forum is therefore not useful to patients or carers seeking information or clarification about conditions or treatments.

How do I join the forum?

If this is your first visit to the forum, you are required to register. Registration is free. To register you will need to enter a username, a password and a valid email address. You will immediately receive an activation code by email which you use to validate your account. You can then enter the forum using your username and password.

You'll keep the same identity while posting on the boards. You can keep track of your post count, fill out a profile, receive instant messages and receive e-mail alerts when other people post replies to your messages. There are several boards running at the moment - please post your message in the appropriate one. The more you post, the better your 'title' becomes. You start off as a 'Baby' and progress via 'Junior Member', 'Rising Star', 'Elite Member', 'King', 'Angel' to 'God' status. You need just five posts for the title of 'Junior Member'.
