Structure

The new MRCPsych exams are divided into 4 components:

• MRCPsych Paper 1
• MRCPsych Paper 2
• MRCPsych Paper 3
• Clinical Assessment of Skills and Competencies (CASC)

Curriculum

• The new competency-based curriculum for Psychiatry Specialty Registrars (StRs) is an electronic document which is accessible from the website of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. It is based on the requirements prescribed by the PMETB and covers all six years of specialty training.
