CASC

Not much has been published by the Royal College of Psychiatrists about this exam but it is expected to be a combination of the old MRCPsych Part 1 OSCE and Part 2 Patient Management Problems stations. The big difference is that the difficulty level and complexity of the OSCE stations will rise in order to accommodate the greater length of training by the time this exam is taken and in order not to duplicate what has already been assessed in the workplace.
