British Indian Psychiatric Assocation
BIPA aims to promote education and research in psychiatry in the UK, for improvement of mental health services for people of Indian origin. It acts as a forum for psychiatrists of Indian origin in the UK for promotion of social closeness and cohesion. It acknowledges and recognizes contributions of Indian psychiatrists and make them known more widely. It organizes education and research events with Indian Psychiatric Society and Indo-American Psychiatric Association. It establishs funds and awards to promote the cause of mental health in this country. It also acts as an advocate for the specific needs of its Association members in relation to the Royal College of Psychiatrists and other governmental bodies.

College of Psychiatry of Ireland
From 1st January 2009, the College of Psychiatry of Ireland became the professional body for psychiatrists in Ireland, and are the sole body recognised by the Medical Council and the HSE for Competence Assurance and Training in Psychiatry.
